Is everyone telling you that you should use R to make plots? Are you finding it easier to stick with your tried and true tools?
The ggplot2 R package is a powerful and flexible tool for generating data visualizations in R. Once you unlock ggplot2 and the underlying "grammar" it is based upon you will be able to design limitless types of visualizations.
Join Pat Schloss in this one day workshop as he leads you on the start of your journey learning ggplot2. Pat is a professor at the University of Michigan where he has received awards for his enthusiastic efforts to teach scientists to improve the reproducibility of their research. Pat has taught hundreds of researchers to use R in other workshops and has nearly 25000 subscribers to his YouTube channel, Riffomonas, where he teaches reproducible research practices using R, ggplot2, and other tools.
This online, live workshop will provide you with an introduction to the ggplot2 R package. This workshop is taught using "live coding" where you can code along with Pat, ask questions, and practice your skills with numerous exercises. By the end of the day you will grow in your confidence to make a variety of plot types with ggplot2.
Register now for this workshop! It will be taught from 9 am to 4 pm (EST) on May 9th. All you need is the ability to install R and RStudio - Pat will even help you with that step.
